PAST PUBLIC SERVICE INITIATIVES

2019-20

Client: Mile High WorkShop

Mile High WorkShop creates employment opportunities and job training for those looking to rebuild after addiction, homelessness, and incarceration. Their vision? To ensure every member of the community is empowered with dignity through meaningful work

One of the ways they do this is through their sew shop. The sew shop repurposes vinyl and other materials to create one-of-a-kind tote bags. And psst! Bags (and masks) are available for purchase at www.secondchanceseries.com. DKY we helped launch this campaign in the middle of a pandemic?! Check it out!

2018-19

Client: Women’s Wilderness

It’s Women’s Wilderness’ mission to cultivate courage, confidence, connection, and environmental stewardship among girls, women, and the LGBTQ2+ community. We helped launch a new site for their biggest yearly event, Summit Sisters—an immersive weekend event to help you connect with nature, and yourself.

2017-18

Client: Harm Reduction Action Center

Harm Reduction Action Center (HRAC) is a resource that helps people wherever they are on the spectrum of drug prevention, drug use/harm reduction, and drug treatment/recovery. HRAC has helped clear 2.3 million needles from the streets and parks of Denver and continually works to keep Denver healthier and safer with proper syringe disposal, clean syringes, access to on-demand HIV/HCV testing, health education classes, street outreach, and referrals to mental health/substance abuse treatment.

Goal:

  • Increase public education around HRAC and its mission.
  • Position HRAC as a positive community asset.

Deliverables

  • The website, http://yourhrac.com/.
  • The creative concept, “A Day Without HRAC.”
  • A video to build brand awareness.
  • An interactive component for their annual event.
